Pieve di Galatrona
The Parish is mentioned in a document dated 1198 where Innocenzo III confirms to the church of Arezzo all his possessions, but is plausible that the structure was built in a previous period. The church was subject to an important construction site between the 12th and 13th centuries, in the phase we could define as full Romanesque. Inside the building, in the 13th century, seems to have been buried Guido Guerra, a member of the Guidi family, who died in 1214-1215. The building today has a three nave structure with full-center arches resting on a quadrangular pillars and ends with a quadrangular scarsella apse. Inside the church there are a baptismal font, a small temple ciborium and a glazed San Giovanni Battista made by Giovanni della Robbia.
