Church of San Donato in Pogi
PERIOD: medieval – modern
DESCRIPTION: The church, of medieval origin, has a north-south orientation, with a gabled roof. The façade is characterized by extreme architectural simplicity composed of two pilasters placed at the extremity, a rectangular central portal surmounted by an oculus highlighted by a masonry frame. The church inside consists of a single nave with two side altars and a main place in the presbytery area. By now the building has almost completely lost its original features and currently shows characters dating from the late 18th and 19th centuries.
